Ingener, in consortium with Siemens multinational company, was awarded a contract by ENDE, the Bolivian electrical utility, for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a new 50 MVAr STATCOM, to be assembled in the Paraíso substation, located near Trinidad city, province of Beni.
It is a cutting-edge static synchronous compensation system which improves the quality of electric power transmission.
Ingener’s scope of supply includes the civil detailed engineering, civil works, electro-mechanical assembly, HVAC system and cooling system for the new VAR compensation system.
