EL NARANJAL PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT – 54 MWP

In 2015, Ingener was awarded the complete construction of El Naranjal photovoltaic power plant, with an installed power capacity of 54 MWp, located near the city of Salto.
This new last generation plant has solar trackers to maximize solar radiation collection throughout the day and seasons.
Ingener was responsible for the detailed engineering, earthworks, civil works, the erection of approximately 3,000 tons of "tracker" type support structures, the installation of almost 200.000 solar panel modules, the complete installation of the internal low and medium voltage network, the required engineering and works for interconnecting the plant to the national 150 kV transmission network, including the constructions of 150 kV substations and the 150 kV overhead line with crosslinked metal structures.
This contract represented a very favorable challenge, where Ingener was able to unleash its full potential as an organization, coping with multidisciplinary works and within extremely demanding deadlines.
After the construction and commissioning of the photovoltaic power plant, Ingener took charge of the operation and maintenance of the whole facility for 10 years, ensuring its performance under an O&M contract (PR).
