Pae – Campana refinery – Revamp Crude Oil Desalination System

Installation and assembly of the mechanical equipment (desalinators, crude oil pumps, tanks and others), piping systems, metal structures, electrification and industrial instrumentation necessary for the expansion of the capacity of the crude oil desalination unit of the Campana refinery.
The works included the assembly of two new desalinators, the refinery’s four main crude oil pumps, tanks and heat exchangers, complete construction of foundations for the new equipment to be installed; assembly of piping (+25,000 inches of welding); assembly of metallic structures and vines (+150 Ton); electrical installation and associated instrumentation; hydraulic tests and cleaning of the new and intervening piping; hydraulic tests of the intervening vessels, pumps and other equipment.
All the works were developed following strict construction rules under the highest standards of the industry, since they are installations in classified areas in operation, pipes under ASME and/or API regulations, etc.
