SunEdison: 50 MW El Naranjal photovoltaic power station and 16 MW Del Litoral photovoltaic power station
SunEdison, photovoltaic power generation world leader, has entrusted Ingener with the execution of local works for the installation of two photovoltaic power stations: 50 MW El Naranjal and 16 MW Del Litoral, both located near the city of Salto.
These new state-of-the-art plants include a solar tracker system for maximizing energy collection throughout the year. Our scope of supply includes the ground works, the installation of support structures and photovoltaic panels, and the installation of the low and medium voltage network, as well as the engineering and the works required for interconnecting the power stations to the power grid.
This contract represents a highly positive challenge, which allows us to deploy Ingener’s full potential in a multi-faceted project with very tight deadlines.
UTE, Gamesa 70 MW wind park, located in Valentines
Gamesa, a Spanish wind turbine manufacturer, awarded Ingener a contract to complete the electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) of a new 70 MW wind farm owned by UTE in the town of Valentines.
Our scope of supply included the medium voltage network, the step-up and collector substations of the farm, and upgrading the UTE transmission substation in Valentines for the interconnection between the farm and the national power grid.
We are proud to have worked in an emblematic project in Uruguay for clean energy generation with a leading manufacturer.
Solarpack, 20 MW photovoltaic power station, located in Tomás Gomensoro
Solarpack, a pioneering company in the development of photovoltaic power generation, contracted Ingener under turnkey conditions for the interconnection works to UTE’s 30 kV distribution network of the 20 MW Alto Cielo photovoltaic power station, located in Tomás Gomensoro, province of Artigas.
This project is another example where Ingener becomes the right partner to provide adequate solutions for grid connections whether for power generation projects, as in this case, or for large-scale industrial and commercial ventures.
Cementos del Plata, cooling water system for a kiln and a water fire suppression system
Cementos del Plata, a company owned by the ANCAP Group, signed a contract with Ingener for the installation of the water system for cooling the lime kiln and the water fire suppression system at its new lime plant located in the province of Treinta y Tres.
Services
Montes del Plata, scrap wood chipping service
Montes del Plata, a cutting-edge pulp mill run by Arauco and Stora Enso, and located in the Punta Pereira in the province of Colonia, awarded Ingener a contract for the processing of scrap wood from their manufacturing process. Scrap wood is chipped and then reused as fuel in an industrial boiler.
This service combines management, operation and maintenance to meet wood-processing monthly targets. Once again, Ingener’s Operation and Maintenance Services team has proved capable of providing solutions for operational tasks that emerge after the works completion in new ventures.
Weyerhaeuser’s plywood factory: maintenance of the MV network in Tacuarembó
Weyerhaeuser has trusted Ingener with the maintenance of the internal network and medium-voltage substations of its plywood factory located near the city of Tacuarembó.
This project involves two stages: a first stage of monitoring of the facilities under operation for predictive diagnosis and a second stage of a scheduled shutdown for a thorough preventive maintenance of all the plant.
This service is essential to achieve high availability operation of the industrial plant and 12 MW of co-generation (electric power and process steam), a process located within the same industrial premises. Ingener, with its multidisciplinary Services team, serves the main industrial clients throughout the national territory with customized solutions.
Gerdau Laisa: 50 MVA power transformer replacement
Gerdau Laisa, an iron and steel company dedicated mainly to steel manufacturing for construction purposes, has engaged Ingener’s services for the replacement of the 150/30 kV 50 MVA power transformer for the plant’s power supply. The transformer was located in a transmission station in Montevideo. The work consisted in the transportation of the new unit from the city of Rivera to the station located in Montevideo, as well as the erection works and commissioning in record time.
It should be noted that Ingener‘s technical and logistic capabilities allows us to effectively solve these special situations or emergencies, resulting in an added value for our clients that have hired our maintenance services on a monthly basis.
